NetBoss XT is a standards-based Integrated Service Assurance solution that gives you the power to monitor the health and quality of content and application services by providing detailed information rapidly so that you can determine the impact of resource outages on services and customers.
New for NetBoss in Release 3.0 is Service Management with Resource Availability View, Service Impact View and a Customer Impact View. This integrated, end-to-end service delivery path view allows rapid pinpointing of the exact resource trouble affecting the customers, which enables operators to prioritize work efforts on the issues having the most impact. An operator can instantly see if a resource problem –a door alarm, for example - will impact his services, then choose the priority for service response - commercial broadband vs. residential DSL, at 12 noon , that will then drive the appropriate response – a truckroll or rerouting at switch center – in accordance to the customer’s service agreement for the least impact.
Whether expanding a network, integrating traditional with next-generation networks or building new 4G networks, the NetBoss suite of products will also allow customers to scale with their network without touching the existing equipment. This “clustering” features means that as new servers are added to the network, the clustering software load balances all of the processing required evenly across all the servers to prevent any server conditions. Clustering will also prevent single points of failure for hardware or software failures that can occur on servers.

New for NetBoss XT Release 3.0:
- Service Management –“Resource-to-Service-to-Customer” drill down view to quickly map resources available for services, and organize the priority of responses to provide the support according to established service agreements for multiple customers.
- Clustering – Providing high availability (HA) in the event of hardware or software failure, and scaling options for growing their network with ZERO impact to existing servers and deployed element.
- XT Agent Development Environment or XADE – “Point-and-click” agent design environment where you can build customized agents without knowing XML programming language. This lowest cost-of-ownership approach is significantly more flexible to address changes and new deployment demands on the fly.
