Where failure is not an option, the Aviat Eclipse IRU 600 represents the ultimate in high performance, high reliability Mission Critical Microwave. The IRU 600 is a compact and efficient radio frequency unit (RFU) for all-indoor deployments, for simplified installation and maintenance.
For operators requiring an all-indoor deployment, the new Packet Node IRU 600 radio unit combines increased system performance for longer reach, with market-leading security and reliability in a microwave radio.
The IRU 600 is built for the toughest conditions, engineered for high reliability and bulletproof redundancy. Reliability is combined with the Eclipse Strong Security suite, the industry’s highest level of microwave security communications security. This integrated security suite provides payload encryption, secure management and integrated RADIUS capability.
The compact shelf design of the IRU 600 occupies only a fraction of the rack space required for previous-generation equipment, without compromising on the ease and flexibility for maintenance and upgrades demanded for hybrid native mode transport and 4G migration.
